Lesson overview:
In this ESL lesson, students listen to real horror stories: a podcast where people describe eerie experiences they lived through. Then they write a scary story of their own, using the past perfect to put events in order.
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- follow real-life stories in a podcast and discuss them
- choose between the past simple and past perfect
- use both tenses to tell events in the right order
- write their own ghost story
