Lesson overview:
This future forms worksheet teaches will, be going to and the present continuous through the start of a new year. A rule card explains each form: be going to for plans and predictions from what you can see, the present continuous for arrangements, and will for decisions, promises and opinions. Students read Sam's New Year message and label each future form as a plan, an arrangement, a decision or a prediction. They turn Mia's January calendar into present continuous sentences and respond to everyday situations with will. They choose the right form by finding the clue in each sentence, correct the mistakes in Mia's list of resolutions, and make questions about plans.
Add it to a class plan and keep track of what you've taught.
