Lesson overview:
In this lesson, your students will discuss the phenomenon of oversharing🗣. Oversharing is when we say more than we should🙊, aka when we share too much personal stuff 💭 for the level of closeness we have with someone🤷🏼♀️! Well, it can get you in lots of awkward situations😵💫. Your students will read an article📖 about embarrassing situations😬 caused by oversharing, and from that, they'll learn how to use verbs with "to" or "gerund" 🤓 to express different meanings.
In 60 minutes, students will:
😶 talk about oversharing and crossing the threshold of intimacy
✏️ read an article about awkward stories
🙊 practice reading comprehension skills
🤓 learn to better use verbs that change their meaning when used with to/gerund
