Lesson overview:
In this lesson, your students will talk about the joy of not fitting in🙈 and why it seems so important for us to belong to some social group🧐. They will read an article🤓 by a writer who interviewed kids👩🦱 who happened to be misfits,🤷🏼♀️ which inspired her to reflect on her own journey of not quite fitting in😐. She will share what helped her find her true self✨. Along the way, your students will also pick up some fresh vocabulary to express the idea of fitting in or standing out. 😍
