Lesson overview:
This beginner ESL lesson plan expands students’ hobbies-related vocabulary through grammar, listening, and speaking activities. They will talk about what they do in their leisure time and express their opinions on various interests. Throughout the lesson, your students will practise the vocabulary while doing exercises to improve their understanding of to+infinitive/-ing forms.
Lead-in:
To activate your students’ background knowledge, ask them to look at the pictures and match them with different activities. The visualisation and discussion will set the context for the lesson and help keep them engaged in the topic.
