Lesson overview:
This daily routine vocabulary worksheet teaches 16 phrases adult beginners use every day: wake up, get up, take a shower, brush your teeth, get dressed, have breakfast, go to work, start work, have lunch, finish work, get home, cook dinner, do the dishes, watch TV, go to bed and fall asleep. Students sort the words by verb, so they learn get dressed, have breakfast and go to bed as whole phrases. They decide which comes first in pairs like wake up and get up. Then they read about Marta, a night nurse who has breakfast at 5 pm, and complete her day. They fix common learner mistakes like go to home and make the dishes. The sheet ends with speaking: students compare a normal Monday with a perfect Sunday.
