This clothes vocabulary worksheet teaches 14 words adult beginners need: cardigan, dress, sneakers, jacket, pants, T-shirt, trousers, trainers, boots, shorts, hat, gloves, raincoat and scarf. There are eight exercises. Students look at two people, Maya and Ana, decide who is wearing each item, and describe one outfit from memory. They learn when to say a pair of, as in a pair of gloves, and sort clothes for a hot day and a cold day. They read sentences in American and British English, like pants and trousers. Then they read a friend's message about a rainy weekend in Edinburgh and decide what to pack, fix Tom's beach outfit for a winter job interview, and complete a conversation in a clothes shop.
