Lesson overview:
This describing people worksheet teaches 14 words for physical appearance: tall, short, slim, curly, straight, wavy, long, shoulder-length, blond, dark, gray, bald, a beard and glasses. A rule card shows when to use is and when to use has. Students choose is or has in eight sentences, find three mistakes in a description of a picture, and complete a description of two grandparents from a word box. Then they solve a logic puzzle about five people at a family reunion. The sheet ends with read and draw: students read a short description and draw the face.
